Analysis of Three Videos Ads

As a educational ads, very important in this moment of the electronics devise era, we must emphasize teach, communicate and publicize the dangers of driving, talking, writing texts on cell phone, mostly young people usually do and even many mature people have the audacity to talk on cell phones and texting while driving, and do not know that in seconds can lose control of the vehicle, have an accident and even killed and causing the death of others.
The main concept in these three ads are auto accidents occasioned by the negligence of young and mature people to use the phone to talk, it sounds simple but it is not, first because most of the cars still do not have the connection to the bugles sound equipment and have to hold the phone with hand something difficult for them to be able to take the wheel and step easily lose concentration in management, and second the worst fault is texting driving because they have to watch the screen cell and this distracts attention to the road and lost control of the car is the worst folly and irresponsibility of a conductor. Below we give you three links Ad accident three announcements talking or texting driving, the images are very strong but hopefully this will open their eyes and awareness to people who usually do this and realize the terrible consequences texting handle and see to it; besides accidents occasioned by driving drunk or high to marihuana now we add also the talk on the phone and texting each time driving, and more lives are lost from these causes.
            Don’t Text & Drive Commercial - GRAPHIC 2014:

This was a controversial commercial about texting and driving. Hear in these ads the main idea is the girl texting and diving without pay attention to the road and is very direct and clear what happened for this action.  In my opinion is something that do a person that no have any brain cell, does not think, do not realize the danger of this, and the CONSEQUENCES of his act, that in matters of seconds his life and the of others is truncated and is because they die in the accident or are disabled, and if survive and does not happen any thing to the driver but kill others or damaged somehow go to prison for first-degree murder and will have to spend in prison for many years of his life.
The audience of this ad is mainly young persons as they show young girls laughing in the car and the driver demonstrates heir’s irrationality and irresponsibility to drive the car.  Is a complete drama, are involve three cars in the accident, in one the young parents of a girl and a baby look dead, the other car’s passenger look as they are alive but in the car in which was texting her friends seem dead and if she remained well and safe wound is a large moral and physical trauma and going to prison for a long time. The setting is a road or highway somewhere surrounded by trees and natural areas with no background music only because what happens is enough to attract attention of the viewers. Uploaded on Aug 27, 2009.
This a car crash double accident causing by texting, did by western Cape Government, the South African National Roads Agency, is only visual, and a text, not sound, is for every body orients, and what happened is two different drivers are so busy texting they forget to take the corner. One hits a streetlight, the next few minutes after hits the van repairing the streetlight, happened in Cape Town, South Africa. I thing this is a good ads that will be nice to have in this country in all the Television’s Channels to educate theirs viewers. Uploaded on Dec 7, 2011

The driver was with two passengers in his car and was texting while was driving. The images and words said all does not need explanation. How I said before this is real, is not science fiction IS HOW LOOK AND HAPPEN TO A PERSON TEXTING AND DRIVING AT THE SAME TIME, please let the phone sound, do not answer until you are in a safe place and stop to talk or text. .

Mac Virus Commercial Analysis

On this commercial, we observed many different factors that contributed to the point that is being made. For the characters they picked to play the part of the PC and the Mac, they used a mature man to play the part of the PC, and a younger man to play the part of the Mac. The PC man was unrecognizable and had features depicted as a very serious, boring man. He had a dull colored suit with old glasses to top off the look. The Mac man was portrayed as a young hip guy.
Along with this, the fact that he is a well-known actor helps with his image in this commercial.
Also, while the PC guy was suffering from a “sickness,” which was a metaphor for a virus given to a computer, the Mac guy was acting as though he was not scared of catching the sickness at all. In fact, he was acting confident and he was worried about the PC man

Look for analysis in everyday use (Everyone's is an Author pg. 141)

I saw the most interesting ad for me was a place to go, and this was to Bahamas and the mos that attract to me was the images, details.
Other was a Budweiser ad with a lovely dog that his owner want to bring him to other family and the puppies does not want to live home because his friend he love, a horse and the man who took care of him, was so nice for me because I love dogs, animal, the natural Images and the format was wonderful to me.

Think about your own use of analysis.

The last year Unemployment send to me to retraining program, because a job accident. LI had to start to think in what I could take to study after too I many years without go to school and study.
I had to start to think about what I would like to do in my short future, I always were thinking in if I could help my people, from my country and any other country Spanish talking, either in the area of education, for I am a graduate preschool teacher in Florida, or in the legal area, so I'm still seeing if I stay in business technology or I go towards Legal Support Professional. This decision change all the life that I was living, I was used to cook for my husband every day, do laundry, because I expend more than 4 years in the L&I case, expend time with my friends and family and now, I do not have time for any thing else, only read, study, computer,BSTEC 123(Word 2013), English 101, and OLRM 220 (Human Reaction and Behavior in the Work Place), and thous English and OLRM are read and interpret both take me long time to do  and I did not realize that it's six a.m. and I'm still on the computer and I do not notice.

Reflection in your writing experience

In my writing experience , in the Essay # 1 and Essay # 3 I had nice experience and the same time difficult for me, I learn new things from this experience , new words, and how to write, because I have never write anything , just a letter to a relative or a friend, but now is different and for complement in
English!. The different between the One and the Two is that the first one is write remembering everything that you experience before, like when you have a conversation with some body and you are relating something that happen to you and you lived before, this has to be chronologically said, is something nice and good experience for me and the same time a little sad, the Essay 2 is different because you are giving an opinion and statements that probably the orient who are you telling something  do not going to like, and this is the idea, to  raise controversy or open a discussion.

I Ask for Immigration Reform and So You Too?

I Ask for Immigration Reform and So You Too?
Concept. -Illegal immigration or undocumented immigration is when foreign peoples trespass the borders or entering in the country without government permission or visa and violating Immigration Laws, another way to violate is when the visa is expired and the person still in the country without immigration permission.                                                                                 These warnings sing is at the international boundary between the United and Canada in Point Roberts, Washington.

The democrats are trying to pass an Immigration Reform, because Obama said last Wednesday that the Election that gave the control to the senate does not going to stop him to pass executive action immigration before the end of this year.
I will like that this happen, I whish this so much because I have friend and I know people that they are good people, good workers, they pay taxes, they act and his behavior is inside the low, the only thing and matter too much is they broke the low, and this, no matter what is punished by the Immigration Laws but if the president Obama pass this they will be a good people or residents that will contribute to this country. And other thing because I will like this is because of this too many families will be gathered
This illegal immigrants are, the majority of the Illegal Immigrants are from Mexico, Cubans, good person and hard workers, they are fleeing violence in their countries of origin, and less from Honduran, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Peru and Venezuela now because they are fleeing from the violence and the Dictatorial Regimen of Nicolas Maduro.
Not long ago in Mexico was the disappearance of forty-three students and they not know where they are and if they are alive or another cause is the lack of jobs, but these countries do not do anything to try to change this.
Those are examples of the News from the Missing Students in Mexico:
Figure 2

But In some way I do not agree with the Illegal Immigration because they can try to come to this country by asking political protection, apply for Student visa, Visa or permission for work.
Republicans, regardless of what the president does, should go ahead with a package of immigration reform bills," Barbour said.

I understand there are some illegal immigrants that are not good people, but this may be refined to have them all identified and roles and thus will be seen who is who. Another thing I do not like is that some of them think they have the right to demand regardless of their status in the country, break the law driving under the influence of alcohol, do not make any effort to learn the language, English, to try to study something to be betters citizens and contribute more to the country. Other thing why I will like that Illegal Immigration Stop is because is too dangerous for them to pass from Mexico by Arizona River and by the desert, and paying people to bring they Illegal to this country, too many dead and persons missing in that way, I do not know why Mexico does not do any thing to stop this problem, probably because the foreign exchange that represent from each nationals in this country?

Essay by Katherine Spriggs (exercise p. 100)

  1. It's clear that this is a topic that matter to Katherine Spriggs. Has she convinced you that is matters-and if so, how? How does Spriggs establish the importance of her topic? Of course that is clear that the topic matter to Katherine Spriggs. She proves or demonstrates the importance of her topic doing emphasis in that buying local the product will be fresh with better taste because of that, in that way we contribute or will bring advantages to the environment, will reduce the oil and energy use and will improve the opening in new job for the local residents, that is some point convenient but the only thing that do not convince me is the point of have enough production and variety as we have with large farms and industrial production
  2. What a counterarguments or positions other than her own does Spriggs consider-and how does she respond in each case? A counter argument that she consider is the one that support of the purchase of the products where they grow best and the other position she state is that buying locally is harmful for the enviroment because the small farers are not that efficient as the large ones, that know and use better technology, so then small farmers use to be polycultures, they used to grow, corn, hey, alfalfa, and oats, they also had milking cattle, chickens, and a few porks, or pigs; In contrast the big or large farmer are monocultures, they are specialists in one product like a chickens, or pigs, meat production, or corn, vegetables, citrus, etc.
  3. Choose a section of Spriggs' essay that you find especially effective or ineffective. Referring to the gender features discussed on p. 66, describe what makes this part of her argument persuasive or not. The essay last part for me is repeating the same point again and again and for me is no clear what is the principal point to her, to buy local is assume because the titulo but start with the ambient pollution, the grown locals productos or live green.
  4. Spriggs includes several photos in her essay. How do they contribute to her argument? For me is showing how the products are transported for all the country, one small polyculture farm and one big monoculture farm, but this is no showing any thing that help to her in her argument to convince the lector.

Response to the article of Alabama District School

Response:

ALABAMA DISTRICT SCHOOL PAID AN EX-FBI AGENT $ 157K

TO MONITOR STUDENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

My position in this case is 100% I agree with this because in this way this school is preventing the future guns problems, questionable materials like drug, fights, and fears. This, of course is carrying over reaction in the school, they said that is not right because are violating the students’ rights, and the more expelled from the school are black and this although 40 percent of the students are black; in this, it seems that students are partly right but if that is relative because the majority are black because blacks are most at school, for me it should not take them out and live they without  classes  is not fair, for me have to be taking them to counseling.

My background information is properly because this article is credible and I always see in the news problems with a kids at schools killing and shouting and already we have too many death.

Of course this topic matters, are our kids, ours future the nations men’s and woman’s  , and too many families suffering with this, bulling through the social pages, future murderers or children with problems advertising through these what to do and no one says anything and if you know ahead of time can be prevent.

For me this is happening because the families formed today are more personal interest in unions as not live alone, have a fixed lovemaking without infections, allocate common costs, to achieve better future or girls often marry people of childbearing intentions and then separated and receive child support of former spouses, strange thing, weird,  no love, no in most moral principles idea of a loving home with respect and care, have children, educated and teach them to be good citizens in future.

Last year, in an effort to improve security, the Huntsville City School district paid an ex-FBI agent Chris McRae $157,000 to monitor the social media activity of its 24,000 students. The effort was part of a program called SAFe, Students Against Fear, where students and faculty could file anonymous tips to McRae who would look through their social media accounts for any questionable material, including drugs, weapons, gangs or sex.
Yes, the security program seems like an overreaction and a violation of students’ rights. More alarmingly, however, is that of the 14 students who were ultimately expelled, 12 were black even though only 40 percent of the district’s students are black.

Madison County Commissioner Bob Harrison was seemingly the only local official who noticed that the figures were unacceptably skewed. “That is effectively targeting or profiling black children in terms of behavior and behavioral issues,” he said.

AL.com on Oct. 1 requested public records listing expulsions by race and expenses related to the security consultants involved in the online investigations known as the SAFe program. On Oct. 30, Huntsville City Schools provided records showing the system expelled 305 students last year. Of those, 238 were black.

That means 78 percent of all expulsions involved black children in a system where 40 percent of students are black. Expulsions related to social media investigations through the SAFe program were a small part of that total. Of those 14 expulsions related to SAFe, 86 percent involved black students.

Laurie McCaulley, the only black person serving on the city’s school board, denied any racial motivations in the expulsions. “These numbers tell me that I have kids with some major issues,” she said in an interview with AL.com.”What I think the board is doing is trying to provide a safe environment for all children.”

10 Signs of a Positive Workplace

10 Signs of a Positive Workplace

By Linnda Durré, Monster Contributing Writer

As a business consultant, corporate trainer and psychotherapist for many years, many people have asked me, “How can I cope with negativity at work? Are there good companies to work for? How can I spot one and get hired?”

Positive workplaces tend to exhibit a common set of traits that foster excellence, productivity and camaraderie. Here are 10 characteristics of a healthy workplace to look for:

1. Positive Values

A positive mission statement outlines the goals and demonstrative behavior that exemplify the highest commitment to quality and service to each other, the company, customers and shareholders. The company sets out to achieve its goals in ethical, honest ways with an elevated sense of purpose to improving the planet and humanity.

2. Relaxed and Productive Atmosphere

People enjoy coming to work and feel appreciated, acknowledged and rewarded. Signs of fear, domination, bullying, sexual harassment and intimidation are absent. Creativity, productivity and thinking outside the box flourish.

3. Commitment to Excellence

Employees give 200 percent. They strive to be the best and to deliver top-quality products and services. They take responsibility for their actions and decisions.

4. Open and Honest Communication

Everyone communicates in a cards-on-the-table manner, solving difficulties in a positive way. They don’t play nasty revenge games when given difficult feedback. Instead, they view feedback as an opportunity for growth.

5. Cooperation, Support and Empowerment

Can-do, go-the-extra-mile and win-win attitudes are evident. Employees have a sense of camaraderie, cooperation and empowerment. Healthy competition exists without vengeful, spiteful backstabbing.

6. Sense of Humor

Employees keep things in perspective, have fun and laugh. Laughter generates endorphins, our natural antidepressants.

7. Compassion, Respect and Understanding

Kindness and understanding prevail when employees face challenges such as accidents, illnesses, personal tragedies and natural disasters. People will usually go the extra mile for others when they’re treated well and with understanding, compassion and respect.

8. Flexibility

The company and its employees embrace change, accommodate new trends and technology, and incorporate new skills. They know if they don’t, the business will end up a dinosaur. As the saying goes, “Change is the only constant.”

9. Positive Reinforcement

People need acknowledgement, appreciation and gratitude to be motivated. Genuine compliments, rewards, bonuses, raises, promotions and certificates of achievement are oil in the machinery. The company thanks employees regularly in these ways.

10. Emphasis on Health, Family and Environment

The company offers comprehensive health insurance, with weight-loss, smoking-cessation and substance abuse programs. The corporate cafeteria features a low-fat menu, and the company gym is stocked with exercise equipment. The company offers reimbursement for childcare and/or on-site childcare. The office itself features natural and recessed lighting with incandescent bulbs rather than halogen or fluorescent. The organization is environmentally aware by encouraging solar power and recycling.
